OK, first of all, it's not from the IRS. It's a big virus and either opening the attachment or clicking the link will download a virus called Zeus into your system which won't improve your relationship with the IRS or with your local bank because it will help the hackers to access your account information and, as they say, drain your account quickly.
Here's a link to a discussion of the problem: IRS email
Just when you thought it was safe to go swimming in the Everglades...well, no one ever thought it might be safe to go swimming in the Everglades but now it's confirmed that it's slightly less safe than you thought to begin with.
Reuters is reporting a story about the recent visit of the newly appointed Secretary of State Ken Salazar to the 'glades where he was greeted by Florida officials and a National Parks Biologist grappling with a 15 foot Burmese python. It only took three people to hold the thing.
We all have to be concerned with invasive species (think snakehead fish, purple loose strife and zebra mussels as a couple of good local examples) but this is a problem with irresponsible folks just dumping their pet pythons into the swamp when they become too big to handle.
For those that might think that the 'glades gators will take care of this problem, think again and if you have a strong stomach, here's what happens when they meet.
Wildlife officials estimate the python population at 150,000. I hate snakes.
